Active Minds

Active Minds, a national non-profit organization, is a group of students who are passionate about advocating for mental health awareness, reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, encouraging peers to seek help with mental health challenges, and promoting a welcoming and accepting school environment for all students. This group of students is responsible for sponsoring activities, fundraising, raising awareness, and educating peers for the purpose of advocating for mental health awareness and normalizing the conversations surrounding this topic.

AHS Multicultural Club

A student-centered club open to membership by any student on campus who is in good standing.  The club fosters activities that promote and celebrate cultural diffusion at AHS and the Arlington Community.

AHS Quidditch

AHS Quidditch is composed of students with a passion for Quidditch and the wizarding world. Events include sorting, Quidditch Tournament games, trivia games, and a Yule Ball. Events span from early October to early December.

Arlington High Young Democrats

The mission of the club is to enrich the community through service projects and involvement. We strive for excellence and to set a standard for outstanding citizenship through acts of kindness, equality, culture and compassion. We also aim to educate our members on politics and how we will impact them in the future.

Best Buddies

A program that promotes friendships between students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their typical peers.

AHS BlueCrew

The AHS BlueCrew is THE student section for Arlington High School Athletics.  We provide the hype atmosphere that has become the envy of all other high schools.  No membership required.  If you’re fam, you’re a member!  Just STAND UP and CHEER!!  Room 213 for info.

Team will read a selected 8 book list and prepare for knowledge competition with other local high schools.

Bridge Builders

Community leadership and diversity program which has a recruitment/application process in Jan-Mar of each school year.

Diamond Girls

Assist baseball booster club parents in selling tickets, concessions, and apparel at all AHS games.

Christian environment for athletes to worship and fellowship.

Gaming Club

Gamers meet every Monday and Tuesday to play card games (Magic the Gathering), table top games, and video games. Members are not required to attend a minimum number of meetings. Participation is strictly voluntary. Room 307.

Meditation Club

Meditation Club is a club that will meet weekly after school in Mrs. Sanders room. The aim of this club is to provide stress relief and inner harmony to the student body and to teach members of ways to meditate elsewhere.

Princesses for Patients

A non-profit organization made up of 16 to 19-year-old girls who dress up in various princess costumes and visit children at St. Jude and Target house to bring, happiness, and memories to children with critical illnesses.

Recycling Club

The goal of the Recycling club is to make Arlington High School and the community more environmentally friendly and to bring awareness to the need for recycling.

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)

SADD’s mission is to empower young people to successfully confront the risks and pressures that challenge them throughout their daily lives.

SAGA is an organization that seeks to promote a safe and positive environment for all students at Arlington High School.  The group focuses on issues impacting the LGBTQI community but is open to all students.

Women's Equality Club (WE)

Women’s Equality Club is a place for everyone to come together and discuss, learn about, and advocate for gender equality in high school, while stopping stereotypes and promoting individual empowerment. Additionally, we work within the community to help women and children in need. WE Club is here to give equality a voice.
